Geïnspireerd door die vraag maakte Lina Esco in 2012 de komische film "Free the Nipple". Maar omdat het bijna onmogelijk bleek om de film uitgebracht te krijgen, begon Lina in 2013 de "Free the Nipple" beweging, die onlangs op de Universiteit van Californië nog eens aandacht vroeg voor het onderwerp.
